Chug Chugging
Here’s a Scaup of one kind or the other. Greater or Lesser. Hard to tell apart from this angle. I love the way ducks move the water around when they are swimming. We generally only see it in a still shot. I also really like his gold eye!
You get such beautiful and close shots of these birds.I have a hard time telling the Scaups apart.

Ruth, thank you! The differences are pretty subtle. I think you’d have to see them side by side to tell.
