A Chicken

A Chicken in the long grass.
Did you ever stop to think of everything we get from the Chicken! It’s really quite amazing that one bird could serve us so well. I’m an avid birder and I love Chickens too! Deep Fried or BBQed is fine with me!

Birds are wonderful to watch, but the chicken is so much better to eat.This is a great shot.

Chickens have good personalities when you spend time with them or observing them (I agree they taste good too).

I recently went to Rarotonga in the Cook Islands and they have chickens wandering around freely all over the place, it is weird when you are snorkelling on a reef just offshore and you can hear cockerels crowing!

I asked a local if they are allowed to just grab a chicken if they want one and was told that they don’t because the chickens are pretty tough…makes you wonder what we do to them for eating purposes…
