By now, not only is the Varied Thrush thinking of springs am I. Lovely picture.Thought came to me. Does a bird find any icy branch slippery, like we find the streets and walks?
Ruth, thank you! Every was completely covered in ice. There was a lot of birds at our feeders and in the nearby bushes. I didn’t see any of them bobbing upside down! So I can’t answer you question! LOL! I think because they are so small and weigh so little that they probably don’t slip! But really don’t know!
