Meeting of the Minds

I haven’t shown any Pelicans for awhile. These American White Pelicans (Pelecanus erythrorlynchos) gather at the Whitemouth River Falls in Manitoba.

The Pelicans are beautiful, especially in flight. I’m hoping to see some this year as I try to get out to where they are.

  Ruth, you’ll have to taken your granddaughter to Lower Fort Garry. On the way there stop at Lockport, on the western side of the bridge and you’ll see the Pelicans fishing by the lock! Lots 0f them gather there!
