Nature Through My Lens

Standing Proud

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_8b1f.jpg

A proud Mew Gull (larus canus) standing on the sand at White Rock while the tide is out. I believe this to be an adult Nonbreeding bird.

    • Ruth, thank you very much! I was quite pleased with how it came out! I find gulls the hardest birds to id. Even with a decent picture it’s hard to tell! Guess I need to get a book just for gulls!
