A Pine Siskin (Spinus pinus) in a small tray feeder my wife has loaded with Niger Seed. These guys love it along with the Goldfinches! The blue background is thanks to the neigbours blue playhouse for his daughter!

    Yes,I too love the Pine Siskins. Usually we see more of them in winter, but the last g=few winters have been quiets far as Siskins are concerned.

    • Ruth, thanks! I’m not sure what’s happening with them either! We usually get most of them in the winter too. Out here they recently went through a disease that was very contagious and killed off a lot of them. So I hope we’ve seen the end of that!
