On a wet rainy day, there’s noplace the Spotted Towhee (Pipilo maculatus) would rather be than kicking and scratching around in the leaf litter for whatever it can find to eat. This time a nice sunflower seed!

This is auch a beautiful bird. Some birds can get quite enthusiastic when scratching int the dirt.Sure is fun to watch.
