The Boss

Here’s the boss! It keeps all the little birds on their toes! A Sharp-shinned Hawk (Accipiter striatus) It drops into the yard every day or so to see what it can catch for lunch. It went hungry today!

    Such a pretty bird, yet so deadly. I know they need to eat, but I never like to see them catching the small song birds.
