Nature Through My Lens

In the Rain

We were blessed with another gloomy, wet day, with lots of rain, sometimes with some snow mixed in. Didn’t seem to bother the birds. They were very active at out feeders. Here’s a pair of White-crowned Sparrows (Zonotrichia leucophrys) on the mossy wet branches of our Rose of Sharon.

The birds seem to feed more when the weather is not that greta. You managed to get a good photo of these. They should be back on my yard in a couple of months.

    • Ruth, thank you! You’re right! They are much more active when it’s miserable out! It’s pouring here today and the feeders are very busy!
