Here’s a Stellar’s Jay (Cyanocitta stelleri) having a bad hair day, thanks to the wind! It’s sitting in our Empress tree. The brown objects are flower buds which have been on the tree all winter and will soon bloom in lovely purple flowers!

    A little more hair gel might have solved this problem. Sorry,but that’s my crazy sense of humour. It is a beautiful picture.
