A Cooper’s Hawk (Accipiter cooprii) juvenile, stopped in for lunch today, but all the lunch made a hasty retreat and it went away hungry!

  2. nice closeup! we had one in the backyard last week, and I’ve never seen the songbirds fly away so quickly!
