Here’s a regular visitor to our feeders. These guys really like our Suet. This one is a Intergrade Northern Flicker Yellow Shafted (Colaptes auratus)

This lovely lady Northern Flicker (Colaptes auratus) likes to sit way up there on the top of this Maple tree in our neighbours yard.

A red shafted male Northern Flicker (Colaptes auratus) perched in a Rose of Sharon Bush is waiting for his turn at the Suet feeder! We currently have four of these beauties visiting out feeders!

A Northern Flicker (Colaptes auratus) intergrade. This guy has the markings of a Yellow Shafted and Red Shafted Flicker.

This female Northern Flicker was at the very top of this old dead tree and had a great view all around.
