I watched this Great Blue Heron yesterday afternoon. It was hunting minnows along the side of a pond. It was having great success too! But I don’t know how many minnows a good feed makes!

I have no idea what they are. I find their identification to be somewhat difficult!

Here’s a Barn Swallow tending it’s young one. Looks like the fledgling is actually bigger than the parent! The little one better get to flying. It’s not long til migration time!
A Yellowlegs. Not sure whether it’s a Greater or Lesser! The differences are subtle. I loved this guys reflection, the water drops and it’s wonderful ripples that look like they are drawn on!
