wonderful, proud, American Avocet.  This is a common bird

across the Canadian plains.

A Lifer

We are just back from a holiday.  We travelled across the country as far as eastern Manitoba.  Here is one of the wonderful sights we say.  An American Avocet.  Quite plentiful on the plains of Saskatchewan.   More to come as I get 2500 photos organized!
