Any Port in a Storm
A small group of Gulls found this puddle in a vacant lot in Abbotsford, B.C. to be quite to their liking. They became alert and stopped bathing when we pulled up.
Busy, Busy
The Barn Swallows were busy collecting mud for their nests from around this puddle on the side of a road.
Puddling
Here’s a mixed group of Mallards and Wigeon on a rainy day, taking advantage of a large puddle on a farmer’s field.
I guess that’s why they are called Puddle Ducks!
